Bitterroot Early Learning Center offers preschool to children aged 2-5.
Teachers perform the Pocet assessment several times a year to determine each child's developmental level and to make learning goals with the child's parents.
Lesson plans are posted in each classroom for parents to view. Lesson plans are developmentally appropriate and include activities from all learning domains.
Teachers set up the environment to support active learners and to foster children's natural curiosity and interests.
Teachers have daily contact with parents through verbal communication.
Preschool children have opportunities to learn individually and in small and large groups.
Meals are served family style. Children serve themselves from small serving dishes and pitchers of milk.
